Muse atsiims Robbins Silver Clef apdovanojimą [en]

MUSE have agreed to accept this year’s Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef awards after turning down the honour in 2009.

The Devonshire lads felt they were not worthy last year. However, after seeing the impressive list of past winners, including David Bowie, 63, they finally relented.

Singer Matt Bellamy, 31, said: “We are delighted to be presented this year’s Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef and join the ranks of such artists as Robert Plant, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Elton John andThe Who. “Nordoff Robbins is an exceptional charity that has a positive impact on so many people’s lives and we are very proud to be recognised by them.”

Sharon Osbourne, 57, will host the event in London on Friday, July 2. The awards, which have so far raised millions for the music charity, also feature an auction of music memorabilia and other money-can’t-buy items.
